Terms of Service

On ClipsRemake you choose a video template, upload photos and get a short generated video back. Each video costs credits, and you see the price before you start.

Keep your sign-in safe and tell us if someone else uses your account. You're responsible for what happens under it. Each account is for one person.

Upload only photos you're allowed to use, showing people who agreed to be in a generated video. No photos of children, of public figures, or that belong to someone else.

Use ClipsRemake only for lawful, respectful videos of yourself and people who agreed to be in them. Don't try to break, overload or reverse-engineer the service. The content standards below list what you may not make; we can refuse, block or remove anything that breaks them.

You may not use ClipsRemake to make, or try to make, any of the following six kinds of content:

• Pornography or NSFW content: nudity, sexual acts or sexually suggestive material. • Violence or gore: graphic injury, blood, killing, torture or cruelty, or content that glorifies or incites violence, terrorism or self-harm. • Hate speech: content that attacks, demeans or threatens people based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, caste, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability or age, including hateful symbols. • Child-unsafe content: any content that sexualizes, endangers or exploits minors. You may not upload photos of anyone under 18. • Deepfakes and impersonation: videos of a real person who hasn't agreed to appear in them, of public figures or politicians, or made to deceive people into thinking someone really said or did something. • Copyright and trademark infringement: photos, logos, characters or other material you don't own or have permission to use.

Child sexual abuse material, terrorist content and non-consensual deepfakes are zero tolerance: the account is closed at once with no refund, and we report the content to the relevant authorities, including NCMEC for child sexual abuse material.

You also may not present a generated video as real footage to mislead people, use ClipsRemake for harassment, spam or fraud, or try to get around our filters or those of our model provider.

If you see a video made with ClipsRemake that breaks these rules, or one that uses your face, likeness or work without your permission, email support@clipsremake.com with the subject "Report". Include a link or screenshot, where you saw it and what is wrong. Mark child-safety or terrorism reports "Urgent" so they are handled first.

Our team reads every report. We keep the reporter's identity confidential, review each report impartially, and may ignore or act against reports we find to be deliberately false or abusive.

Moderation happens before, during and after every video:

• Curated templates: users don't write prompts. Every template's reference clip and prompt is written and checked by our team before it goes live. • Photo review: every uploaded photo goes through the model provider's safety review (ByteDance Seedance) before any video is made. Photos of public figures, explicit images and other content that breaks its policy are rejected, and the credits are returned. • Output filtering: Seedance screens each video as it is generated and blocks results that break its content policy. • Human review: our team reviews every report by hand and spot-checks templates and finished videos regularly.

Each report goes through the same steps: we receive it, sort it by severity, review the content, decide, act and tell the reporter the outcome. Response and resolution times by severity:

• Critical (child safety, terrorism, imminent harm): first response within 24 hours, resolved within 3 days. • High (non-consensual deepfakes, sexual or violent content, hate speech): within 3 business days, resolved within 7 business days. • Medium (copyright or trademark claims, impersonation): within 5 business days, resolved within 15 business days. • Low (other policy questions): within 7 business days, resolved within 30 days.

If a case needs more time, we tell the reporter why. When content breaks these terms we delete it from our storage and, depending on how serious it is, warn the user, suspend the account or close it for good, and report it to the authorities where the law requires.

Your photos stay yours; you let us process them only to make your videos. You can download, keep and share the videos made for your account, as long as you respect the people in them and the rules of the platforms you post to. The service, its templates and the site content belong to us.

Credits come in one-time packs and are spent when you generate a video. If a video fails, its credits go back to your balance automatically. Other purchases are final unless the law says otherwise.

Videos are made by AI and may contain mistakes or glitches. As far as the law allows, ClipsRemake is provided as is, without any warranty.

As far as the law allows, our total liability for any claim is capped at what you paid us in the 12 months before it.

You can stop using ClipsRemake whenever you like; email support@clipsremake.com to close your account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

We may change these terms. For important changes we'll let you know before they apply. If you keep using the service afterwards, you accept the new version.
